The Adelaide Build Assist service was created by two highly successful industry professionals who through their own business experience, recognised a need to identify a more progressive connection between client and builder. We understand that for a building relationship to work, the client needs to be able to communicate easily, have trust and feel totally comfortable with their builder’s ability to deliver a quality product, on time and within budget. Similarly, the builder needs to know that the client is committed to and supportive of their building practices and be understanding of any latent issues that can arise along the way.
Our observation was that in most cases, this level of understanding between the parties rarely existed. As a result, the client walked away feeling cheated and disappointed whilst the builder felt used and unappreciated. It is no secret, the process of building a home is subject to change on a daily basis; how well the builder and client communicate, will determine the level of success.
So in response, we developed Adelaide Build Assist to be a valuable education for both client and builder. Its purpose is to identify, manage and communicate the needs of the client to the builder and educate, advise and nurture the client around the building process their builder’s expectations.
In doing so, we refined a course of action with a select number of builders (from which long standing relationships already exist) that focussed on the necessity for the needs of the client to come first. We felt that if the client is priority and there is mutual respect, the relationship will work; simple as that.
But like any relationship, there needs to be a reciprocal level of patience and conformity from the client. Whilst their needs are put first, the client should appreciate that flexibility and an ability to adapt is paramount in a process that is subject to change.
With this in mind, we concluded that Adelaide Build Assist was a service designed to simplify the building process and create an environment that will ensure an open and honest relationship between client and builder based on trust, experience, transparency and mutual respect.

The Build Assist Process is a detailed summary of the ‘pre – building’ activity, totally unique to Adelaide Build Assist clients. It is a step by step process of eleven (11) stages that need to be addressed carefully and comprehensively, to ensure our client is best positioned to benefit from the Build Assist service and experience.
It is not unusual for clients to find themselves at different stages when they first make contact with Adelaide Build Assist. Some clients require help from our tender process forward; others prefer an all inclusive approach.
