Davroe Hair Wellness

The ‘Dresslier’ company was founded almost 80 years ago (in 1930) by formulating chemist John Sloan. John began making hair care products in his small manufacturing plant in Adelaide producing an array of traditional barber products such as hair oils, shampoos, talcum powders and after shaves. Up until the mid 60s the company began distributing many major international brands. During this time the salon supply business landscape increased and multinational companies began to manufacture and distribute their own ranges within the growing Australian salon market.

In the mid 1980s Dresslier developed a very innovative natural plant based range named Davroe. The protein rich hair strengthening spray ‘Impact’ was introduced to the Australian salon market and thus Davroe was born in 1987.
